Call for participation at the 5th Animateka Festival

The fifth edition of Animateka International Animation Film Festival is drawing closer. Between December 8th and 14th the animated images will once again come to life on the screen of the Kinodvor theatre in Ljubljana, the rest of the cinema will feature original film drawings by this year's Artist in Residence, the Swiss author Georges Schwizgebel.

You can fill out the entry form and send your film off to festival competition until October 15th (please also read rules and regulations).

This year's festival programme will be announced shortly.

Although we are yet to receive and answer to our formal objection regarding the drastic cut in co-funding from the Slovenian Film Fund, the enormously generous international support has prompted our decision to start off preparations for the fifth, anniversary edition of the festival. We are stimulated in our work and endeavours by a positive response and encouragement from all corners of the world.
