The International Animated Film Festival, the number one appointment with animation in the world, and Toondra.com, the first VOD site devoted to short animated films, are associating to offer an incredible showcase of international animation. Starting on 28 October, to coincide with the world celebration of animation, over 1,000 extracts of short films submitted for the Festival official selection will be available for free on www.toondra.com and the service will be frequently updated with new extracts. This catalogue of films comes from Animaquid, the amazing and unique database created by the Annecy Festival over its 47 years of existence. A playground next to a small block of flats on the edge of town. Children play basketball and the mean neighbour Lazar finds it very disturbing. But not everything is as it seems; take a look at life from the other side.

Nestrpni, a nasmejani liki v kratkem filmu popeljejo občinstvo skozi animirano svečanost, navdahnjeno z Leviatanom Thomasa Hobbesa iz leta 1651. Saj ste uganili ... Kaj se zgodi, ko se začne sranje.

The third edition of Isola Cinema Festival brings along a strategic partnership of Isola Cinema and Animateka festivals. Two years ago, we had focused our programme on the contemporary production of South Korean animated films; last year, we took the visitors for a trip around the world. The films of the upcoming (upcoming) edition come - with the exception of two Russian films - from Southeast Asia.

The programme was conceived so as to allow great diversity in terms of authors, artistic expression, animation tehniques and narration. We paid particular attention to young creators, which are presented side by side with well known and established names of the trade.
