Zero Impunity

Nicolas Blies, Stéphane Hueber-Blies, Denis Lamber (a_BAHN, WebSpider Productions, Camera Talk Production, Mélusine Productions), France, Luxembourg, 2018, 90′

An animated documentary, part of a global transmedia project combining investiga-tive journalism and activism, aimed at ending the seeming-ly total impunity for the use of sexual violence in current armed conflicts, featuring inspiring victims around the world who have the courage to break their silence. These stories confront us with the horrendous mechanics of international institutions and age-old war and interroga-tion practices. Zero Impunity offers a voice and solutions to this dreaded universal social norm. A film about love, life and humanity

Nicolas Blies & Stéphane Hueber-Blies

The Blies brothers make films with a social impact due to their activist approach. After conceptualising the project Soundhunters (New York Film Festival, Berlin Prix Europa, SXSW) for Arte, they wrote and directed their first feature film, Zero Impunity (Annecy 2019, Palm Springs IFF, Moscow IFF). They are currently preparing their second film, Ghostdance, and are working on developing an artistic virtual reality installation, Soleils Noirs (CinéMart – IFF Rotterdam 2020).

Marion Guth

Marion Guth is the co-founder of a_BAHN, a film production company in Luxembourg, specializing in cinema with a social impact. She is currently developing Poussiere Rouge, a feature-length by Moussa Touré (Les Arcs Industry Village 2020).
