Kevin Hines, suffering from auditory hallucinations, attempts to take his own life by jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge. In the millisecond after the jump, he immediately regrets his decision. Miraculously, however, he survives the jump and is saved, as he later says himself, by a gift from God.
