Leo Černic is a Slovenian-Italian animation filmmaker who loves independent cinema by modest, honest creatives. After graduating in film and television directing from AGRFT Ljubljana and in animation from Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Turin, he currently works professionally in this field. His latest film, Pentola, has had a successful international festival run and won various awards and accolades, including the Young Talent Award at the 19th edition of Animateka.

In this 5-day workshop, we will delve deeper into the creation of animated stories and learn about the tools needed to pre-visualise and deliver them.
In addition to the basic theory, examples, a few small individual and group exercises, the bulk of the workshop will focus on the development and visualisation of the participants’ own stories, which they will develop during the week under the guidance of the tutors and ultimately present to the group.
