Tara Caruso Bizjak

Tara Caruso Bizjak is a 22-year-old Film and Television Cinematography graduate. She spent her childhood in Idrija, where she finished primary school and the Jurij Vega High School. She is currently a master’s student in Film Directing at the Ljubljana Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television. During her studies, she has participated in various capacities in numerous audiovisual projects, mostly in the Academy’s productions, but also in independent and external productions.

Maja Hočevar

Maja Hočevar is a second-year master’s student in Illustration at the Ljubljana Academy of Fine Arts and Design. In 2023, she completed a BA in Illustration with a thesis on pre-production in animated cinema. She is interested in the broader field of visual art and crafts, be it drawing, design, sewing, making, etc., with a particular fondness for concept art, animation and games. Her short stop-motion animation Button was screened at the AGRFT 2024 International Student Festival and in the FSF 2024 student competition.

Neda Ivanović

Neda Ivanović is currently finishing her graduation animated short at the University of Nova Gorica School of Arts. Her preferred medium of work is stop-motion utilizing all kinds of techniques. Her 2nd year animation Sabotage was done in the paint on glass technique, while her graduation project is mixed media combining around seven different techniques. In her second year, she participated in the Shcha7sec Festival, part of Animafest Zagreb.

Danaja Kurnik

Danaja Kurnik is a master’s student in Illustration at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana, and a Film Studies and Psychology graduate of the University of St Andrews, Scotland. In addition to visual art and animation, she works as a contemporary art critic. Her artistic and academic works often focus on feminist discourse and the impact of gender on the experience of life.

Karin Likar

Karin Likar has recently graduated from the School of Arts, University of Nova Gorica with a degree in animation and continues her studies in the master’s programme. While her main interest is 2D animation, in the last year she has also been exploring stop-motion animation.

Ana Logar

Ana Logar has always been very creative, seeing the potential for creativity in everything around her. As a young girl, she took photography and film courses, which later led her to study cinema, first at the Institute and Academy of Multimedia (IAM) and then at the School of Arts in Nova Gorica, through which she spent a year on an Erasmus exchange in the Czech Republic. Eager for knowledge and more focused studies, she decided to complete her education at the Ljubljana Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television, where she is now a master’s student of Cinematography.
