Alexander An Veliki

My name is Alexander An Veliki. I’m 12 years old and I’m in Year 7 of the Majda Vrhovnik Primary School in Ljubljana. I listen to Brazilian Phonk, play Roblox Rivals, I like parkour, and I love skating in a skate park with my friends. I enjoy making realistic drawings with pencils and creating comics, as art allows me to enter the world of imagination and explore new ideas. Most of all, I like reading manga. I’ve been fascinated by animation since I was little, especially Japanese anime such as One Piece and Demon Slayer. I enjoy seeing good stories and interesting characters come to life on stage and on screen, so I am very happy to be a judge in this year’s children’s competition program.

Mila Bijuklič Grabar

My name is Mila and I’m nine years old. I love to dance, sing, and explore new things. I especially enjoy making up stories and watching cartoons. My biggest wish is to have endless holidays with my friends.

Robin Bohlin

I’m Robin, I’m 10 years old, and I enjoy making animations, especially stop-motion. We don’t have a TV set at home, so we like to go to the cinema. I like both computer and stop-motion animations. When I’m not animating, I play the drums, do athletics, solve logic puzzles, and hang out with my friends. My family likes to travel, and every year we visit Sweden because we have relatives there. Frequent travel encourages me to learn different languages. I take my camera with me on most of our trips because photography is also one of my hobbies.
When I grow up, I want to be a computer programmer because I already enjoy coding games (and I enjoy playing them even more).

Karina Kravcova

I’m Karina Kravcova, a Year 7 student at primary school. I’m 12 years old. I like to be creative and watch Hayao Miyazaki’s films. I’ve attended several Elephant animation workshops where we made animated films. I enjoy animation because I get to be creative, hang out with friends, and let my imagination run free. I also take piano lessons and English classes, and I’m a girl scout. In my spare time, I also like to read. When I read, it’s often stories about imaginary worlds.

Ben Peštaj Zevnik

My name is Ben, and I’m 10 years old. I like animated films that are warm, have a positive message, cute images, beautiful animation, and a good story. I don’t like films where I have to make up the story myself. I enjoy singing, playing the guitar, inventing new things, and making pancakes.
